Moving in

Well, not quite but today my youngest daughter completed on this property in Sydenham, South London. Unfortunately it coincided with her having a short break with friends in France so I had to go over to Sydenham to collect the keys from the estate agents. I went via Greenwich where my wife is catsitting Adele's cats. She had to stay because people were due to view Adele's flat. Greenwich to Sydenham on a  Friday afternoon takes an age with the volume of traffic, multiple traffic lights and roadworks. I then returned to Greenwich to  take my wife to see Adele's new home but the traffic congestion was even worse and we missed a turning and ended up going round in circles. We gave up and went back to Greenwich. I eventually made it back to Woking, exhausted after hours in the car. Next time I'll take the train! I'm looking forward to Adele putting her stamp on the first home of her own. And I'm sure I'll work out the best route and time to get there - eventually!
