Seaside Shack

This is not the greatest composition but I still like the colourings which really look tropical. This shot is taken from a roadside bar we stopped at for an icy cold Chang beer.

It is the roof of a room you can rent which is set in the banana and coconut palms and is on bamboo stilts hanging right over the water in an amazing looking rocky bar between Patong and Kamala Beach, Phuket. You can rent the rooms in low season for 1200 baht a night which is NZ$50. We are in low season here now and if you were here in high season the rooms double in price.

I'm paying 500 baht a night were I am but there is no sea view. On another occasion I would be tempted to stay a few nights in one of these.
