A bit of a Misnomer?

      A Canada Goose - The Canada goose, sometimes called Canadian goose, is a large wild goose with a black head and neck, white cheeks, white under its chin, and a brown body." 
      IF you can be harassed to look up BOTH "Goose Barnacle" AND "Barnacle Goose" you might begin to understand my problem.
      I had a shot of a pair, on water, too; but these were slightly clearer.  There may, yet be an improvement. 
      I've, arbitrarily, placed them "somewhere" on the Canal.
