This is a One Metre class of model racing boat. It is about 5 years old, so not really competitive anymore, unless you are a very talented sailor!
This Class was introduced many years ago to provide a reasonably priced Competition, with Rules to prevent soaring costs. This boat was offered to me for 800?, a bargain I was told. A new boat would cost over 2,000?!
So much for keeping down costs! I haven't bought it, I am not interested in racing anyway.
