Still Life with Boat
Considering that the only boats I have ever graced with my presence have been large ferries, and in the mists of time, a rowing boat off Portree in Skye wearing a look of terror but no life jacket, I am fascinated by the shape and look of boats, and may well have blipped them even more than Pensioner.
This little trawler* was bought as a memento of our recent sojourn in Orkney and is happy to be beached on the window sill in the shadow of a seabird with the relative proportions of an albatross.
* Perhaps it's not a trawler at all. I can expect to be corrected by a seafarer
Edit: I have it on the authority of a former Sea Captain that this is a stylised Clyde Puffer. Thank you Derek!
