Lake Hayes …..

….. ….. ….. reflections. What a stunning day! In spite of trees turning red & gold, it felt summery. Missy & I walked around the lake, and came back to the car via the south side, as there’s more shade there. Amazing weather.
You can spot the Remarkable Mountains between the branches of the tree.

I’ve been making Elderberry Syrup this evening and am looking forward to have it to drink over the winter. It’s a wonderfully rich deep red and tastes fruity & a little spicy. It’ll be great as a hot drink. The elderberries were growing at my daughter’s, and there are plenty growing wild around here. Elderberry vinegar is next!
