Sunday Sunshine Hanky Panky

The grass was soaking this morning (you can see the drops in the background) after torrential rain all night so these two Meadow Browns (Maniola Jurtina) were taking advantage of the early morning sunshine to warm themselves up. I got very wet of course, moving the grass aside so gently so as not to disturb them!

Larger Velveteen lovers!

If they are not Meadow Browns, please let me know, butterfly identification is not my forte!
