Weston Helicopter Museum
A late post today after a very busy day today.
Day trip out with the u3a Trains, Boats and Planes group to Weston Helicopter Museum.
My Blip is of a Westland Whirlwind. I flew in one of these 60 years ago. It was an air sea rescue helicopter flying from RAF Leconfield in Yorkshire.
The extras are of the cockpit of a helicopter with the seats removed. What a complex set of switches and dials. The second extra was plain silly but it brought a smile to my face.
Arrived home from the Museum and then headed off to the Village Hall for film night. Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson in The Great Escaper. Need a much more cheerful film next time.
