Iceland - Day 3

Awoke - eruption continuing - breakfast and packed lunch. Started by heading to the Lava Centre in Hvolsvollur - great exhibition... then out to Skogafoss - such lovely weather - up the steps to the top and bright sun - lunch by the river, then headed to our rendezvous with Asgard guides and spent two and a half hours exploring the Solheimajökull glacier - excellent guides and experience for students - back on coach and it started raining. Vik for shops and toilets, then out to Black Sand beach but amber warning light on... back via Seljalandsfoss waterfall... disappointing as it often is. Then headed back to our hostel for the evening.
