Beautiful Bug Weather

The temperature must have reached 17 degrees this afternoon as I saw my first bee-fly of 2024, a day earlier that I have seen one in past years. I grabbed a shot and then spent a long time searching for it again in the hope of catching it in flight. It's a bit annoying that it settled on some dry grass when it would have showed up so much better on the lovely, fresh, green, new leaves.

I've included images of a tiny snail, a green tortoise beetle and a common spotted field syrph.
