Sutton Hoo on my birthday

We had a lovely visit to Sutton Hoo to celebrate my birthday. A very fascinating place to visit with the descriptions and images of burial artefacts and stories of the people.

This is an image of one of the burial mounds, I think it was the boat one but I am not certain.  The visit was exceptionally interesting and we have finished off the day with an excellent meal in Aldeburgh.  Home tomorrow.
