I was stuck in Yeovil this afternoon.  I had taken my diesel motor to BMW for a change of EGR cooler, planning to wait for the job to be finished.  I had a test drive in an electric BMW iX2 (nice motor, quite complicated, very fast) only to find that my car needed another component changed.  It would cost me nothing, but I couldn't have it back until tomorrow.  Mrs B had to come to my rescue, eventually, so I wandered the streets for a bit.

I nearly rented one of these electric scooters, but the company took an age to verify my ID  so I didn't.  I've cancelled my nascent account; it's probably safer and I didn't have a helmet anyway.
