Something yellow

I knew I'd be posting something yellow today, because this morning I went up to the butterfly reserve looking for cowslips.  Instead I came home with this - the right colour but a yellowhammer.  And really it was much too close to the lens, but almost as I was leaving I bumped into a few of them playing around and taking absolutely no notice of me standing there with my camera.  Mind you, I only got the obligatory two seconds before they were off!

So once again the cowslips will have to wait.

What else about today?  Not a lot.  I bought supper for tonight and my rail tickets for London tomorrow and that's about it.
