Catching up with Exes

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

I went to meet The Boss and a couple of ex-colleagues, Pedro and Stevie, this evening.

It was mainly daft banter and because we don’t all work together any longer, the chat about office politics was (mercifully) brief. I felt sad for The Boss when he said that he really hates his job now as he’s normally a fairly upbeat person. Pedro diagnosed the issue as The Boss giving a sh1t but thankfully we moved on before that became too bleak.

Pedro has officially retired now and looks after his grandchildren for most of the week which he loves. With the exception of toileting aftermath. “I don’t know what they feed kids these days but I pretty much need to power wash the toilet.”

The evening was good fun. Although I like working from home, human contact is a bit limited so it was nice to have a candy floss night.
