~ Geraldine's house ~

me: I'm bored
mum: go outside and play
me: but outside is boring too
mum: go and play with Geraldine

gasp!

Geraldine lived just down the road
Geraldine's house was really scary
she lived
in a basement flat
with her dad
it was really dark
and damp
and dingy
there were piles and piles of newspapers
in all the rooms
and lots and lots of beer bottles
Geraldine didn't have a mum
last time I went
to Geraldine's house
her dad wanted us to play a game
he wanted us to take off all our clothes
and get under the covers
I didn't want to play that game
I wanted to go home
Geraldine's dad
was really scary
and horrid
and smelly
I was glad I wasn't Geraldine
