Rock and ice

A cloudy, dull, showery day today, so lots of reading and chatting. Went for a stroll along the rocky shoreline below our rented house this afternoon. Some amazing rock formations, with veins of lighter rock in darker lava, all rounded and scraped smooth by ancient glaciers. Today's blip is of two rocks sitting in slushy snow along the shoreline.
