St Andrews sights

A lovely visit today from a young relative visiting Scotland so we took her for a quick tour of St Andrews that involved a walk along to the harbour with the view of the ancient cathedral ruins seen in the blip.

She had to be shown the inside of St Salvator’s where our Texan son was married ( extra) and then a drive alongside the famous Old Course to the West Sands for a walk along the fairly deserted beach. ( She hadn’t heard of the film Chariots of Fire with its famous scene filmed there - I suppose it was a few years ago now ! )
