Safe Hands

How come we have the close season , no games then today , a pre- season friendly for the Sons v Hibs, a shinty cup final for Inveraray v Kyles at Strachur and a motorcross event locally at Acnashelloch all on one day - TODAY ???

Off coursethe Sons' game had to be our choice despite it being the furthest away; a round trip of 120 miles. However the journey was well worth it as we enjoyed a really good game of football from both teams ending, surprisingly in a 1-1 draw. John reckons we won 1 -1 as we are only in our second season in the First Div against a Premier Div team.

The keepers both played very well and I liked these shots of the keeepers, defending their goals. Off course Stephen Grindley in red , our keeper had to be shown saving the goals, whereas the Hibs keeper just had to be shown letting one in.

LARGE might be worth a look.

Nice to see one of our new signings getting his first goal today. A very positive start for us.
