Henley Beach

We've been to the beach, obviously. Nice long walk followed by lunch, sitting outside. I don't mind winters like that. However we are not fully aclimatised yet, because locals were not braving it out, just staying in a nicely heated restaurant.

An interesting thing I saw today - a whole row of cars parked on the beach car park, with elderly couples, just sitting and watching the ocean, or reading papers or even sleeping.

There were quite a few of these guys with huge kites and boards. Mr H called it board-winding :) It looks fun, but nothing would get me as far out as some of them. The jaws are somewhere out there.
