Cardinal in hand

Today was a cold snowy day. The snow did not stay on the ground much but it was certainly colder than it was a week ago. I got out for a walk after work and had several birds looking for food. The cardinal paid me a visit a few times for peanuts. In the shot he posed nicely for the camera before flying off
