My favourite flowers

The daffodils are finally blooming around our place! Amazing what a couple of days of warm weather will do. 
Going to have a wee rant here. We've had three weeks of issues with our satellite system. It's been very frustrating because we lose the signal constantly, sometimes just for a couple of minutes, sometimes longer, and randomly. We've talked to technicians four times since March 9, two different ones in Toronto, one in Montreal and one in Winnipeg.  A new receiver was mailed to us after the first two calls, and we installed it but the issue continued. We were told on Sunday that the technician in Toronto would call us back this morning at 8am. No call. I finally ran out of patience and called. Julien in Montreal answered and was insistent that he knew what he was doing, implying that the 2 previous technicians didn't know what they were doing. He said that he'd solved the issue. Ha! I went shopping and when I came back, G said that the signal had been lost twice in the first hour after Julien had supposedly fixed everything. So...I called again and this time got Christine in Winnipeg. I told her that I was frustrated and angry, and she was very understanding. She explained that the technical crew have been working on the issue for a few weeks and that the problem is not with our box. For now, we just have to put up with it. There was no point in going through all the steps again that we went through with the other three guys. She did ask if any of the others had talked to us about compensation. No. So she gave us a credit on our account and will increase the amount depending on how much longer it takes to solve the problem. Apparently the crew is making some progress. Christine said that she would call back this Friday to see if we were still having problems - or before that if she was notified that the crew had fixed everything. Apparently we're not the only customers who have been calling. Anyway, she was excellent and I felt much better after I talked with her. We'll see how long it takes for proper service to resume.
