Calm before the storm.

I took this before the day got underway. This moment was calm.. then the day spiralled into business and chaos!.
I was allowed to use the hedge trimmer to attack the conifers!
I won’t make a hairdresser, that’s for sure!! .. but I’ve been reassured they will grow and won’t look like bald sticks! The trimmer was very heavy to raise above my head and Vic was sure I’d electrocute myself and was in a bit of a panic. Think he’s finding it hard that because of his cardiac arrest his energy is limited… and struggles watching me struggle.
But we are a team!
Then there was even more Ivy to tackle and bushes to trim!
Bags and bags of greenery for the tip!
Then there was next door’s cat, dog, brother, , alarm , ex husband and son to sort … as Rashi is in India and instructions left have not been too clear!!!
Finally after dinner I tried to sort out activiitieses for Holiday Club… and they all went wrong!
A large class of wine is in my hand!!!!
