A run on the estate

I ran on the estate today. I am not sure if they are collecting entry fees yet but I ran straight past the guy and didn’t wait to find out!

As we were away at the weekend we were disappointed to miss the mass protest about the new entry charges. It was organised by right to roam and by all accounts there was a good turnout with lots of coverage in national press and on regional tv.

I doubt they will change their minds on the fees but I don’t think they have heard the last of it.

This carving is a commemorative piece on the estate to recognise the coronation last year - they could have saved some money and not bothered with that!
