Caerketton Craigs and the T-Wood

Not a bad start to the day. A few short spells of sun. A nice walk around the park, but trying to avoid the muddy paths due to heavy overnight rain. In some places, there are definite signs of spring on branches. Leaf buds are starting to swell, Extra 1.

Not too bad on the afternoon walk. There is the haze of a light rain shower over the Pentland Hills. Despite appearances from the blip photo, there was some blue sky and sunshine. Proof is that croci flowers were not shut tight, but open. I especially like the purple and white flowers shown in Extra 2. The sun reappears when we get home.
