Big Walk

JR went off with her gym busddies for lunch, so after a few chores, Archie and I set off. It was such a nice day, we decided to go down the Royal Mils and have a look at the Parliament. There might be some sort of demonstration going on. 

A pleasant dander down the sunny side of the road, passing my old place of work, walking up closes to find wee gardens, and then had a walk round the ponds at the Parliament. Archie gets a lot of sympathy when he's out and about.

We got the bus back up the Mile, being quite tired by this time,,and then walked home over the Meadows, stopping at our favourite cafe. We were both well stuffed when we got home. (8,269 steps).
