Green

We had to make a visit to the Chocolate Shop and, as it was quite sunny, we thought we would go along to Borrowdale (not THE Borrowdale, our Borrowdale near Tebay). It was very quiet. Lovely to see all the new green growth.

Fascinating to think how long roots such as this have been here, providing food and shelter for lots of wildlife.
