Out the water for cleaning, painting and repairs, I imagine.
We used to take our boat out the water at this time of year to scrape the barnacles off it’s bottom, paint on antifoul, and give it a fresh coat of paint.
We drove along to St Monans, (only a mile away) this morning and had a walk around the harbour and village.
It’s a lovely sunny day here so I’ve finally made the effort to get out in the garden. Did lots of weeding, a bit of cutting back and tidying up, and dug up a big patch of Snow in summer. It’s attractive, but spreads so quickly and takes over. It feels good to have made a start.
