Hospitals

Sorry, about the photo, I wanted to post something quickly to let you know that I will be off the grid for awhile and not doing any photography.

My Niece, who is like a daughter to me, was rushed to the hospital this past Monday. Four years ago she had life threatening stomach surgery. Unfortunately, she has been back in hospital all week undergoing tests and they still can not figure out what is causing her pain but I hope they figure it out soon. It is very worrying. She can not eat and has been on pain and nausea meds all week.

The hospital she is in is 50 miles from my home so I have been running back and forth there all week because I wanted to make sure that I was there as much as I could be because I am going into the hospital on Monday (a different one unfortunately) for surgery. I am not sure how long I will be in there or how long recovery will take. I am more worried about her than I am about myself and mainly upset that I will be no use to her after Monday.

Bad and very stressful week so I hope things get better soon.

Oh yeah, almost forgot, she was the one that was taking me for my surgery on Monday. So, now I am driving myself there and back. Hopefully they will clear the road when I am ready to drive home!
