ILLUSION

I'm fascinated by whatever this illusion is. Taken on full zoom across the estuary, it looks as though the turbine and repair vessel, emphasised by the sun shining on them, are just the other side of South Gare breakwater, almost outside that building, whereas they're a good way out into the bay beyond. I've blipped something similar before.
I took this during a walk on the beach and the dunes where I noticed that a big area of the dunes has been eroded and washed away by the storms and tides in the last few weeks since I've been there. Some of the skylarks I saw and heard there today must be wondering where their nesting sites from last year have disappeared to.
