Some Light
Hooray!!
Today we had a fleeting glimpse of the sun. It was wonderful.
I did my two miles again with Hollie in tow, along the Corvedale and taking in the fine views south to the Clee Hills.
It was a brisk walk with fairly strong winds which helped the clouds to hurry along, casting patchwork shadows on the landscape.
Our visitors left at two o'clock which gave us the afternoon to ourselves and we jolly well made the most of it.
More visitors tomorrow. Gary, the tame builder and his wife coming for lunch and a chat. I think he wants to see my wound. Builders are weird like that.
A neighbour has invested in a new car. An electric vehicle (EV)
He calls it a 'voltswagon'!
He's a very clever guy. He likes to brew his own booze and has invented a solar powered distillery.
It converts sunshine into moonshine.
The kind of neighbours I can get on with.
