Green and White
B and I managed a long walk in the vineyards today, enjoying a mild, though overcast, Spring Sunday. It is lovely to see the hedges in blossom, and the fields and trees are turning a beautiful fresh green.
We spotted kestrels displaying and mating, many songbirds, and even a lone raven - the first one I have ever seen in our area. They are slowly coming back after being extinct here for about a century.
I’m still feeling quite tired. The cats were obviously hoping for us humans to entertain them during another night, and woke me up a couple of times. I guess I will be going to bed early again.
