Golden eyes

It's been a sunny Sunday and I saw a butterfly on these lovely Knapweed flowers. These are thistle-like wild plants which are abundant here at the moment. They remind me of cornflowers. The butterflies like them a lot.

It's been a productive Sunday too. The bougainvillea and plumbago bushes have had a radical prune and I weeded all around the irises which are looking super healthy after the rains. I noted how lovely the flowering lemon and orange trees are. It was 22C today which is perfect Spring weather.

Hope you've all had a restful weekend and a fun St Patrick's Day, if your celebrate it.
