Spring garden

Sunny day, I could feel the warmth of the sun as long as I stayed sheltered from the breeze. There were a few treasures to be found in the garden. The berberis is full of flower. The snowflake is pretty, but gets missed amongst the other spring flowers. The hyacinth just appeared and was a welcome splash of blue, and the little violas are doing well in a trough, despite the attentions of a squirrel digging holes beside it.
My turn to cook today and I cooked a chicken. Always a bit more of a performance with stuffing, bacon rolls etc. I seemed to be cooking all morning, but it was worth it.
