Amethyst

This amethyst ring was given to me by my little sister years ago and it is one of my most treasured possessions being from my sister and also made of my birthstone.

Today has been quite a busy Saturday. Our living room is almost now completed painted and as such we have started the hunt to furnish it the way we want. It hasn't been an easy search but we think we may have found the sofa we want at least. Tomorrow we need to order as it's about a 10 week lead time.

Steve has done some more in the garden which is starting to shape up. I am really hoping we can enjoy some summer weather and have a chance to enjoy the garden before Autumn.

When we were out furniture shopping I also did some other cheeky shopping and spent quite a bit on makeup and other stuff - a wee bit indulgent but I guess we all need some indulgence from time to time :)
