Where the sea and sky meet

Had to come down to Deal to sort out the bedroom in readiness for the painter to start work on Monday.  Busy and heavy work.  The weather was shocking when we left- rainy and cold but ok up here in London.  Our 2 hour journey took 31/2 hours, the whole road was closed  and all the traffic sent off onto smaller east London roads, have no idea why.
