Genuine Second Hand

Today we headed home. The next town east of Dubbo is Wellington which, we found out yesterday, was actually settled first.
Smaller and less vibrant, it is sad to see, like in many parts of Australia these days, lots of shops are closed and shuttered. It's certainly not all as bad as this image shows but there is no shortage of candidates for Derelictweek. 
I've also heard Wellington referred to as "The South Pole", being the ice (methamphetamine) capital of NSW, but I fear there are other contenders as well.

Also posted is a typical rural Australian scene but I have relegated it to extras as I took it on Saturday. (The dog is most inappropriate - it should be a red cattle dog, or at least a blue).
