Treviso

We are on our holidays! It's a beautiful city to explore, described as a mini Venice, built on a web of canals and rivers with city walls and some impressive old buildings. 
We had lunch (first extra) outside which included prosecco (the local drink) and tiramisu (home of the annual tiamisu world championship). 
Dinner (my birthday meal) was an amazing dinner at a fabulous fish restaurant before heading back to our hotel (second extra), a room with a view, elegantly restored with original frescos etc. preserved. Simply wonderful.
