Hartley Homes

These one bedroom almshouses at Laneshaw Bridge, Colne were built in 1911 by Sir William Pickles Hartley the founder of the jam manufacturing company. He was born in Colne and gifted them to the town.  They were modernised between 1960-63 and are now age exclusive housing.  It looks a very nice place to live.
