Two Way Traffic!

I sat in the brief sunshine in Emmanuel College gardens, by the pond which is fed by Hobson's Conduit. There are some exotic species of ducks there although the mallards now outnumber them. There were many fish in there also, but I'm not sure what they are. Not a very succesful shopping trip apart from some market produce. I went to the Post Office but they were on strike and it was closed. Then I went to get a picture that I knew my daughter liked as it is soon to be her birthday. The price when we first saw it was £43, but when I asked to see it the salesgirl explained that the previous price was a mistake and should have been £143 which was now on the ticket! As I have 5 children and 13 grandchildren ( another on the way) I try to treat them equally, so I will have to get something else. I sat in Emmanuel gardens while waiting for my specs to have a screw put in, and they hadn't done it when I went to get them ! Never mind, the sun shone.
