West Highland Way
The West Highland Way is a linear long-distance route in Scotland. It is 154 km long,(96 miles) running from Milngavie north of Glasgow to Fort William in the Scottish Highlands, with an element of hill walking in the route.
We had a wee drive today , ended up going through Drymen and on to Balmaha and had a nice walk along Loch Lomond there (extra). My main shot is of the West Highland Way path leaving Balmaha on a steep stairway up to a beautiful woodland and on to Rowardennan. I walked the WHW some years ago with my sister and two friends, and as it was in May the bluebells were prolific in the woods.
Home in time to see the rugby..... have not much hope of Scotland against Ireland, but you never can tell!
