Pear tree

We were back at the home place this afternoon, to mark out what areas of the land we want to allow Kent’s nephew to plant & harvest this year.

He’s got to keep the area where we want to build clear, and also the new cemetery clear. He will also disc and level those two areas for us.

This pear tree produces the sweetest pears. Wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that it is beside where the old outhouse used to be?! At any rate, it’s well fertilized.
