Jigs, Reels, Waltzes with harp, fiddle, uileann pipes, flute, bodhran, spoons, reeds and triangle.

Then we had a short lesson in bodhran playing and we played a tune. Extra shows me with bodhran.

Very enjoyable.

I couldn’t resist a Miami bag of chips and just when I was lashing into them, the très sympa Raheny_Eye cycles past looking fit as a fiddle.

I was able to tell him in person how much I enjoyed his recent images of Glendalough and I’m sure he won’t mind my linking them here

I’m going to watch Guns for San Sebastián on TG4 starring Anthony Quinn this evening. It has a beautiful musical score and I enjoy an occasional western.
