areaof King's Lynn. The Valiant Sailor was a pub but has been a private house for many years, King's Lynn Minster is beyond.

The extra shows the flood levels of some exceptional high tides over recent decades, engraved on the Minster wall near its entrance. I remember the 1978 flood when I was taken to my flooded hospital by boat!

We now have effective defences along the river bank.
