WARNING! ANOTHER BACKBLIP!
It's still winter around here but it's getting better daily...we dodged a bullet the last couple of days. Denver Colorado area got hit with a blizzard that dumped 3 feet (nearly a meter) of snow. It was thanks to a high pressure system our Canadian friends saw fit to share with us that the blizzard was forced south of us as it moved out of Colorado to the east.

However.....I made this shot today even though it was taken originally back in 1978. I have been converting analog slide film of Hawaii to digital files and this was one of them that I worked on. Most of you will recognize this as a Hibiscus. They are everywhere in Hawaii in a multitude of colors...but red and yellow predominate. Each blossom lasts only 24 hours but is quickly replaced by other buds maturing.

BEST IN LARGE.
