Big Sky Day……!!!

It was a very Big Sky Day in the West …and as you might be able to see…..I was chasing a rainbow….!! Unfortunately,  I didn’t catch Him….(the Leprechaun that is)!!! And I would have needed to,  as the house we looked at yesterday had already ‘tipped’ the half million Euros offer…:)
Nice houses are in very scarce supply at the moment….and when they do come on the market they are selling quickly and at very inflated prices….
My extra is the view from one of the upstairs windows ….spectacular …and it wasn’t even a fine day although we were lucky it wasn’t lashing while we were there…
However,  on the way home we drove through some amazing downpours..!
Over the last few days the rain has been relentless all over the country and the flooding of the farmlands is now unbelievable as you drive across Ireland …a level I don’t think we’ve ever seen before…scary really….we have many beautiful lakes but flooded fields are not a good sight..

Hope all had a happy (and hopefully drier) Thursday than we did…!!
