Concert work

We have our concert on the 23rd March so quite soon and just one extra rehearsal and a rehearsal next Thursday and a rehearsal with the orchestra on Saturday afternoon. Today’s rehearsal of the Puccini was causing Christopher Fletcher, our conductor, great grief! It was not good at all! Needs lots of intensive listening and practising to make it work well! It all feels a bit insecure at the moment and the other work in the concert is Rossini , Stabat Mater! Some fiendish passages in the fugues there too!

When I got back after rehearsal I took Nelly for a quick walk and then sat down to watch the News and Question Time ! The TV has been rejigged by Johnie, the son of Malcolm , who created the problem in the first place. He dropped in on his way home from work. He is bfrom the young generation and tech savvy! Fortunately I was on his route home!

Time for bed and sleep hopefully!
