Swiss Cheese

Up early again this morning for the removal company to carry on packing up the contents of our house. It was all too much for us in the afternoon (constant rain didn’t help) so we escaped to Findra in Innerleithen for cake and coffee. I have to say that the coffee (off the cake for Lent) was the best I’ve had locally. It’s slightly galling that Inners has so many great cafes in contrast to Peebles. Back home to say goodbye to son no 2 as he’s off to Manchester for his last day of work (back briefly on Saturday). I cleaned out the fridge while Mr P drove him up to Eskbank. We both then went to Carole’s for a delicious meal. I’ve been teary on and off all day. Really sad to think this is the last night in our house. Still can’t quite believe it.
