So, watergate conclusion from yesterday. I woke up at 6, tested the tap - hurrah! There was water! Went back to bed for a bit, when I got up properly - no water….

The advantages of having short, thin hair (there are very few tbh)- I washed my hair actually quite easily using bottled water. Was impressed with myself, was much like camping.

Work for the day, then I went to stay with Penny who used to live across the road from us in 1970- something. Also notable for being a completely invisible blip- lurker on these pages. Anyway, it was very lovely to see her, we had v tasty curries made by her friend who runs market stalls, got all caught up, I admired Brontë who had I had a lot about, she is doing well for a very old lady.
