Repairs to the harbour..

Work has now commenced on the harbour wall repair after last years storm damage.  Heavy lifting equipment worked around the tides to clear the debris from the harbour and transport the stone about four hundred meters to a designated space near the dinghy park where the stone was separated into different sizes in preparation for the rebuild.  They used a special attachment to sieve out the smaller stones, and have organised the much larger stones according to size so that these can presumably be reinstated when the stone masons set about rebuilding..  The last extra shows what the wall looked like in November 2023 after the storm.
