Stork nurseries

It’s been a day on the road today travelling from Santander southwards to Andalucia. We are having a night en route to break up the driving, staying tonight on the outskirts of Cáceres. The storks have arrived to breed here and in good numbers, looking somewhat grubby, skinny and bedraggled. Most are sitting on eggs. I have included a few in extras too.

We’ll be off first thing tomorrow and home mid-afternoon.
